Reaper's Gamble is here!

Book 1 of hopefully only 3...

I'm so excited for its release. I say this has been a fantasy series 20 years in the making, but the reality is I attempted to build the world 20 years ago. The idea continued to kick around in my head as I dealt with the daily struggles of life, and then I returned to the story, retaining roughly 10% of the world I originally built. Crazy, isn't it? I mean, I had binders full of world stuff. They now languish in a dusty heap under my coffee table. Why there? It's one of life's mysteries.

The original inspiration for this story was born from a nightmare I had either in high school or early college (I think early college).

Recipe Corner

Have you read Metaxysm yet? Well, I thought it would be fun to share the recipe for the infamous drink in the chapter called "Chrysalis". Thanks to my niece for coming up with this awesome drink! (not hallucination inducing - if you know, you know :)

Recipe (Alcoholic)

Xyloflux Spirit

- 6 oz. Ginger Ale

- 1 shot Blue Raspberry Vodka

- Splash blueberry grenadine

- garnish with a blueberry toothpick skewer

(for a nonalcoholic version, just leave out the vodka and add a little more grenadine!)
