You can learn how to do this yourself very easily. The pain is getting started.
Word is quirky, but it can be finessed to create an interior layout that you need. I recommend:
Windows: Atticus
Mac: Vellum
Either: Adobe InDesign
As a Windows user, I use a combination of both Atticus (for ebooks) and InDesign (for print).
